Amy Brandt, Board of Directors

Mrs. Brandt is a Co-Founder and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. She has also served as Docutech’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 2018. Mrs. Brandt has spearheaded the sale of two companies and participated in numerous other capital markets transactions, creating significant shareholder value. Throughout her decades of experience within the mortgage, software, technology, aerospace and financial services industries, Mrs. Brandt has held a variety of roles, including President of Originations and Corporate Technology for New Penn Financial, Chief Operating Office (COO) for Prospect Mortgage and President and CEO of Vantium. Mrs. Brandt also founded two new businesses under the Vantium Capital umbrella – Velocity Capital Defense and Vantium Component Services – and scaled them to profitability within twelve months of inception. Prior to Vantium Capital, Mrs. Brandt was President and CEO of WMC Mortgage, where she led the reorganization of the business into one of the largest nontraditional mortgage companies with originations exceeding $3 billion per month and led the sale of the organization from Apollo L.P. to GE Money. She has also founded and served on numerous industry committees and panels and currently serves as a Board Member with the Institute of International Education. Mrs. Brandt earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Arizona State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Southern California.

Ted Hamilton, Board of Directors

Mr. Hamilton has served as President of Elkay Plumbing since 2017, when he was promoted after a 25 year career with the company in a wide variety of positions. He started his Elkay career working as a temp in Accounts Receivable and has since spent time in Customer Care, worked in General and Cost Accounting, as well as a number of Operations roles, including Production Control Manager, Warehouse and Shipping Manager, Plant Manager and led a Distribution Center. Afterwards, he moved into customer-facing roles, spending time as both a Regional and Director of Sales for Plumbing Products. For several years prior to his promotion to President, Mr. Hamilton led Elkay’s Market Development group where he focused on new ways to promote product lines to customers. As an Elkay shareholder and 5th Generation member of the Katz family (the company’s founding family) working in the business, Mr. Hamilton remains committed to the company’s legacy, established by his grandfather and his father before him, and believes that “our people are our most important asset.” Mr. Hamilton has developed a well-rounded understanding of every facet of Elkay’s business and strives to keep its founding spirit alive in the present day. He holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Operations from DePaul University, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from Valparaiso University, and has completed the Executive Development Program at Kellogg.

Kirk Laney, Board of Directors

Mr. Laney has served as the President and CEO of KLDC Partners, LP since 2017. Mr. Laney began his nearly four decade career in the Semiconductor Industry in 1980 when he joined the Linear Products Group at Texas Instruments. In 1993, he was promoted to Operations Manager for the TI Optoelectronics Business Unit where under his leadership, a core team was assembled with the critical competencies necessary to enable the Intelligent Opto Sensor strategy. In 1998, under a technology license, he and five colleagues spun off the Optoelectronic Products Group into Texas Advanced Optoelectronic Solutions®, Inc. (dba TAOS, Inc.), which he led from a niche market provider to a global leader and technology innovator of optical sensor solutions. Mr. Laney was at the helm of TAOS, Inc. as President and CEO until merging the company in 2011 with Austrian mixed-signal chip and sensor company, AMS AG, and where he served as President of AMS-TAOS USA Inc. to facilitate a successful integration. In 2013, Mr. Laney was asked to serve as CEO and Member of Management Board of AMS AG where he implemented the vision to transform AMS into a world class sensor solutions company. In 2016, Mr. Laney assumed the role as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) until his retirement in 2017. Mr. Laney holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Midwestern State University and four patents in optoelectronic packaging.

Benjamin Blumenthal, Board of Directors

Mr. Blumenthal is a Co-Founder and serves on the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Blumenthal was formerly the CEO of Global WaterSupply, Inc., a company in partnership with GE Water and Process Technologies dedicated to the development of Desalination Ships, large-scale desalination plant on-board mobile marine vessels, capable of servicing a country’s steady-state demand (i.e. Dubai, Oman) and respond to emergency needs (i.e. Haiti, Japan). Mr. Blumenthal presented water solutions to, and received support from, the WhiteHouse, Pentagon, US State Department, US Department of Defense and NATO as well as from the governments of Thailand, Singapore, Israel, Egypt, Dubai, AbuDhabi, and Oman. Prior to founding Global Water Supply, Mr. Blumenthal served as the Vice President of Bristol Investment Group in New York where he led the firm’s investment in and raised start-up capital for Energy Brands Vitamin-Water that was subsequently sold to Coca-Cola in 2009 for $4.1 billion. Mr. Blumenthal studied at Oxford University, has an M.B.A. and B.A. from Emory University, and is a certified Mediator, specialized in cross-cultural conflict resolution.

Jeanine Johnson, CEO

Ms. Johnson is a Co-Founder and serves as CEO of SunToWater. She has been the driving force behind the concept and commercialization of the technology. Ms. Johnson has two decades of experience designing and scaling enterprise and consumer high-tech products. Most recently, she was Head of Application Security for Apple’s online properties, including iCloud, iTunes and Siri through Apple.com systems. Previously, she was the founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of PeerSpace.com, a sharing economy marketplace for commercial spaces featured in the Wall Street Journal, Fox News and Inc.com. She is also an alum of McKinsey & Company, Amazon, Microsoft, and Flex, where as Director of Product Strategy and Development she reported to its CSO and created a new product portfolio that pivoted Flex beyond contract manufacturing, grew revenues and bolstered its competitive differentiators. In 2006, Ms. Johnson co-founded MyQuire, the first social network built on a development platform, which was acquired in 2008. She has served on numerous boards and is currently an advisor to Tenshey.com, which is advancing gender equality in the workplace through executive coaching and leadership development for underrepresented communities. Ms. Johnson earned an M.B.A. from Cornell University, two B.S. degrees in Engineering from the University of Missouri, and completed Stanford Law School’s Directors College for public company board participants.

Ed Becze, Product Development

Dr. Becze is Chief Engineer of SunToWater and played a pivotal role in translating the company’s complex physical concepts into a pragmatic product design. He brings two decades of engineering experience to the company and has also served as Co-Founder and Executive Managing Partner of Pegmatis Inc. since 2016. Dr. Becze has also led engineering teams at several Fortune 100 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), including Ford Motor Company and United Technologies. At Ford, Dr. Becze led manufacturing process changes that eliminated manufacturing variability on their most profitable vehicle, which enabled it to win a J.D. Power and Associates award. At United Technologies, Dr. Becze received several awards for developing key technologies that impacted the bottom line of critical business segments. Dr. Becze has also led engineers at one of the world’s largest Contract Manufacturers, Flex, where he rose to General Manager of a dedicated Design Center that delivered products for Bose, Oakley, Valve, Google and more. With his diverse, hands-on background and experience both in manufacturing and design, Dr. Becze’s products have met the highest quality metrics while rolling into scalable manufacturing – uncompromising design quality is his mantra. He earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Materials Engineering.

Hank Habicht, Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Habicht is CSO of SunToWater. He has held several leadership positions in the water and energy sectors over the last three decades. Mr. Habitch served as Assistant Attorney General for the Environmental and Natural Resources division under President Ronald Reagan, as well as the Deputy Administrator COO of the EPA under President George W. Bush. Mr. Habicht held a number of leadership positions outside public office too, including Senior Vice President of Safety-Kleen, Inc., where he led corporate development and was part of the team that sold it for more than $2 billion in 1998. Afterwards, Mr. Habicht co-founded Capital E, LLC, a consulting firm focused on the deployment of innovative technologies, and was CEO of the Global Environment Technology Foundation (GETF), a technology focused nonprofit firm that leads major water initiatives across the world. In 2006, he became a managing partner of SAIL Capital Partners. Mr. Habicht is currently chairman of Water Health International, chairman of EnerpulseInc., and on the Board of the U.S. Water Partnership. Previously, he served on the Advisory Board of the U.S. Secretary of Energy and several national laboratories. He has been honored with numerous awards, including the EPA Total Quality Award and the Andrew Mellon Award for National Environmental Leadership. He earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and graduated with high honors from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.

Jay Lopez, Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Lopez is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of SunToWater. He has also served as President and CEO of Estill Medical Technologies for more than 20 years, where he has managed the expansion of the Thermal Angel blood warmer, fluid warmer, and IV warmer product lines. Mr. Lopez has three decades of experience as a business owner and investor in privately held companies. Previously, he spent 10 years as COO of LJBB Investment Group, LP, where he directed investments in healthcare, food and beverage, sportswear, and technology for brands such as Mediclaim, ViB Beverages, Smoothie King, InvincibleSportswear, and DigitalConvergence. For 16 years, Mr. Lopez was Senior Vice President of Information Systems for ESI, a national healthcare revenue cycle outsourcing company, which contributed to the recovery of more than $8 billion. In the mid-1990s, Mr. Lopez and his family purchased master franchise rights for Smoothie King in Dallas, catapulting it to the largest franchise in the U.S. within three years. Mr. Lopez is currently a member of Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and American Security Project (ASP). He earned an M.B.A. from Washington University and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
