Jay Lopez is chief marketing officer of SunToWater Technologies, in charge of market strategy and aligning corporate goals through market data and analytics. Lopez joined SunToWater because he is passionate about improving health for the greater good of society. His professional specialties include product expansion, investment management, revenue cycle management, business models, business process, strategic planning and implementation, franchising, raising capital, market analysis, and marketing strategy.
Lopez is also currently serving as president and CEO of Estill Medical Technologies, where he has worked for more than 15 years managing the expansion of the thermal angel blood warmer, fluid warmer, and IV warmer product lines.
Lopez spent 10 years as chief operating officer of LJBB Investment Group, LP, where he directed investments in healthcare, food and beverage, sportswear, and technology for brands such as Mediclaim, ViB Beverages, Smoothie King, Invincible Sportswear, and DigitalConvergence.
His background includes two decades of experience as a business owner and investor in privately held companies. For 16 years, Lopez was senior vice president of information systems for ESI, a national healthcare revenue cycle outsourcing company. He directed revenue cycle management, managed business process outsourcing initiatives, and contributed to the recovery of more than $5 billion.
In 1995, Lopez and his family purchased master franchise rights for Smoothie King in Dallas. Within three years, the Dallas franchise was the largest in the U.S.
Lopez graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and earned his Master of
Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Lopez is currently a member of Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and American Security Project (ASP).
